Online bingo site refuses to pay Canadian woman’s $100,000 jackpot

Susan, from just outside Toronto, recently won a $100,000 bingo jackpot at an online site, which now refuses to pay her.

A site that she has been playing at, and winning on, now refuses to pay her a recent jackpot.  The site claims it was a ‘glitch’ in their online bingo software.

Her account clearly shows a $100,000 win, and she is afraid to turn off the screen for fear that the proof of her bingo jackpot. Contacting the site has not provided any resolve in this matter so she is now in contact with a lawyer.  Attempted calls were directed to Cypress and other ‘offshore’ destinations.

There have been many recent scandals in online poker but this type of thing is relatively rare in the friendlier online bingo market.  As well, this type of problem is virtually non-existent in the UK online bingo market as the internet bingo sites are operated generally by some of the largest companies and PLC’s.

We continue to suggest to our readers that it is best to play with certified internet bingo software at a recommended site.

I am shocked to read about this sort of thing happening online. Their claim of a ’software error’ is not appropriate. We have chosen to use software that is certified and developed by the public software company, Parlay Entertainment. Please feel free to visit us at www.iplaybingo.com
