After struggling through work this year, all-time high gas prices and diving house prices, I can say that I am looking forward to 2009!  And today, I was just reading comments from John McCain about the “rich” people…

Apparently McCain thinks that people with more than $5 million are rich.  Well, I don’t know about my fellow bingo players, but…$5 million?  Has he seen the stock market?  What happened to a million dollars being a lot of money?

After reading some of his comments, I am reassured that we have the right leader in Mr. Obama.  How can McCain be so out of touch?

Anyway, I hope that I can hit a really big jackpot to get closer to being rich!

The thoughts of Mark Blandford or Ladbrokes entering the bingo space more actively appear to have disappeared.  Parlay has announced today that the tender process to acquire the company has not resulted in any deal with interested parties.  It appears that it is business as usual for Parlay.  Here is the press release regarding possible acquisition of the bingo software provider:
