Boss Media Re-enters Online Bingo Market

Boss Media AB has launched its newest bingo site with Hembingo.com, a new online bingo operation targeting the Swedish market. The launch of the new site took place on Monday with a major marketing campaign in association with Aftonbladet, Sweden’s leading daily newspaper. Hembingo is running a four week campaign with Aftonbladet, running a series of quiz competitions on Aftonbladet web TV, supported by heavy advertising. The move into the online bingo market is major step towards Boss Media’s stated objective of reducing its reliance on its traditional revenue streams of poker and casino.

This comes on the heels of the criticism of Boss Media being chosen by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation without tendering for proposals.  That process is thought to have gotten ALC head Michelle Carinci into a bit of heat, partially heated up by Parlay Entertainment. Some are calling this Boss Media’s first bingo site, but they have powered Svenska Spel’s bingo site and the doomed BingoArena.com
